Q-After I register my son/daughter on line what do I do?
A-Should receive an email back within 7 days confirmaing your registration, at that time you may send in the cheque. 4-6 week prior to the Summer camp starting you will receive(by mail) a confirmation letter containing a schedule.
Q-What time does the Summer program begin and end?
A-The summer program is an all day program that will roughly be 5-6 hours in length. Times TBA
Q-How many goalies are on the ice at once and what are the student to Instrctor ratios?
A-There is a max of 24 goalies per group and each station will hold 3 goalies. There is better then a 3:1 ratio of goalies to Instructors
Q-Are the Shooters/Instructors qualified?
A-All shooters are paid local kids between the ages of 13-20. They are all hand picked and most have been employed by Tenders for many years. They are all AAA and Jr level players. They adjust speed and accuracy to every student. Instructors are all NHL, Jr A , Jr B and College level players. The majority of the Instructors are all still playing and are also hand picked. They combine there styles for a fun and educational environment.

Q - How do I register my child for the Summer Session?
A - Complete registration section of the site and submit, send a cheque to the appropriate address - cheque made out to Al Stoddard

Q - What happens after I register and send my cheque?
A - After receiving registration and cheque Tenders will contact you by phone or email to confirm registration. One month before the camp-Tenders will send you a detailed information package including a schedule of the weeks events.

Q - Where is the Fort Erie Leisureplex?
A - It is located in Southern Ontario Canada on the Buffalo NY border. Located 10 minutes from Niagara Falls and 1 hr from Toronto. (click here for directions)

Q - What is the Facility/Arena like?
A - The Fort Erie Leisureplex is located on a multi-acre plot of land with a Hotel on site. The arena itself is a twin pad with an arcade, a McDonalds, a full service bar overlooking the ice, Family Sports sports store and a running track.

Q - My child is at the rink all day-Do I pack them a lunch? What do the do all day?
A - Yes parents are asked to pack a light lunch with at least 2 drinks and no peanut products. They are quite busy all day. They are on the ice, video session, classroom session, off ice training, games and lunch break.

Q - What if my child gets very sick or injured right before the camp?
A - There is no refund-your account will be credited for one year. |
Q - Is there a paid trainer on staff in case of emergenices?
A - Yes-Tenders employes a trainer for the week to help with all injuries. He is qualified and carries with him all pertinant medical information pertaning to your child. |
Q - What style of goaltending does Tenders teach?
A - Tenders teaches a hybrid style of butterfly and stand up styles. we teach that every situation is unique and calls for different saves. |
Q - What are the student to instructor ratios?
A - Tenders has the best ratios in the region. We will have between 8-10 instructors on the ice with 24 goalies. That is below 3:1

The summer program provides a very high quality of Instruction. We have an Ex-NHL goalie as well as an NHL scout matched up with an impressive line up of Jr age goalies currently playing or just finishing their Pro careers. |
Q - Is there a jersey provided?
A - Yes Tenders provides a free jersey-as well the sports store in the arena will put a name on the back of the jersey for a small fee.
